LOUIS FÉRAUD Early 1960s Vintage Floral Dress Size S
A very rare dress from the very early days of Louis Féraud who founded his couture house in 1959, probably dating to 1959-1962. At that time Jean-Louis Scherrer held a position at Féraud before he
left in 1962 to launch his own couture line. The floral print and the
feminine cut still scream 1950s, but the skirt has slimmed down and the
silhouette in general is more casual already. This sleeveless little number features a fitted bodice with zip closure and a flared but not overly full skirt with side pockets that falls a few inches below the
knee. The fabric features a lovely floral print in various shades of blue,
turquois and green and has a very beautiful structure to it - see pictures! 100% cotton, fully lined in silky blue rayon. Made in
tagged a vintage D 40 but runs very small and will fit a modern D 36, F 38, I 42, US 6, UK 10, SMALL
