CHRISTIAN DIOR 1970s Vintage Green & Gold Silk Lamé Evening Dress

CHRISTIAN DIOR 1970s Vintage Green & Gold Silk Lamé Evening Dress

A spectacular evening dress by Christian Dior from the 1970s with a wonderfully airy, flowing cut. The dress is made of two layers of fine sheer silk chiffon - the bottom layer is green in color, and the top layer is interwoven with gold and black metallic threads that form a beautiful pattern. The dress has a round neckline, internal bra strap keepers, long billowing sleeves with buttoned cuffs (three buttons each), and closes with two buttons at the neck. The overall cut is very loose, wide and flowing. The dress comes with an ultra-long, wide belt that can be used for a more figure-hugging look. In general, this dress is a very versatile piece - it can be worn with or without a belt, and the long belt can be tied in many ways (and could also be worn separately as a scarf or headband). The dress comes with the original long underskirt with elastic at the waist. 52% lurex, 48% silk. Made in France.
