MOSCHINO c. Spring 1995 Vintage Novelty Jacket w/ Signature Appliqués Size S // Sold

This rare and coveted vintage Moschino jacket from c. Spring 1995 belongs to the designer's most iconic designs, well-known through "The Nanny" Fran Drescher who wore this piece in season 3, episode 2 of her famous TV series that first aired in September 1995, and New York fashion icon Iris Apfel who donned this jacket on several occasions.

The jacket is crafted from a black acetate-rayon crêpe with white rick rack trimmings and colourful large appliqués, instantly recognizable Moschino insignia such as the peace dove, the heart, the horseshoe, the lucky number 13 and many more. It features a classic fitted design with fabric-covered buttons, large front pockets and long sleeves with three cuff buttons each. 79% acetate, 21% rayon. Fully lined in a silky striped lining, made of 100% rayon. Made in Italy.

Excellent, remarkable condition. No colour bleeding. The only flaw is a very minor faint mark on the green of the palmtree.

Tagged "I 44" - this equates to a D 38, F 40, US 8, UK 12, MEDIUM, however, the jacket runs small, more like a D 36, F 38, I 42, US 6, UK 10, SMALL. Please consult the measurements.
