MOSCHINO Couture! Spring 1991 Lifesaver Jacket Size M

MOSCHINO Couture! Spring 1991 Lifesaver Jacket Size M

This iconic lifesaver jacket from Moschino's Spring 1991 Couture! collection is a rare runway piece that was originally modeled by the inimitable Pat Cleveland.

The jacket is made of an acetate-rayon crêpe in bright yellow and black with large "LIFE JACKET" embroidery at the back. The jacket features a boxy cropped cut with padded shoulders, 3/4-length sleeves and many "lifesaving" details such as a whistle, a signal light with cable, a pull-tab for automatic inflation engraved "Tirare per gonfiare/Pull to inflate" plus three oral-inflation valves to front and sleeves. The large front pocket provides technical data including the precise manufacturing date of the jacket - January 1991. 55% acetate, 45% rayon. Fully lined in 100% rayon. Made in Italy. A highly collectible piece.

CONDITION
Very good with visible but rather minor signs of wear to the yellow parts, as visible in the pictures - faint marks to the front and the cuffs, a small discoloration to the top of the right shoulder, minor colour bleeding to the underarm area, none of which will overly detract when worn.
