ISSEY MIYAKE c. Fall 1984 Vintage Deconstructed Striped Knit Skirt & Sweater Ensemble Size S
This rare vintage Issey Miyake knit ensemble from Fall 1984 is a great example of the designer's innovative approach to multifunctional oversized cuts and deformed layered silhouettes that are so characteristic of his work from the 1980s.

Both pieces are made of a wool-nylon blend knit fabric with mottled grey and off-white stripes and feature an extravagant deconstructed cut with buttons at one side that may be worn open or closed to create different shapes. The pictures will give you an idea of how versatile both pieces are. 90% wool, 10% nylon, unlined. Made in Japan.
