CHRISTIAN DIOR Spring 1995 Vintage Houndstooth Maxi Dress
This iconic maxi dress by Christian Dior, designed by Gianfranco Ferré, is a very well documented piece. It was presented on the runway by Carla Bruni and was on the cover of Vogue UK June 1995, modeled by Helena Christensen. Rihanna wore this dress in August 2019.
The dress is made of a beautiful silky, fluid fabric with perfect weight and drape and features a black and white "Tati" hounds tooth pattern that was also prominently used by Azzedine Alaia in his Spring 1991 collection. This dress is cut on the bias and hugs your body beautifully. Lightly padded underwire bra inside. Approximately ankle length. Side zipper and metal hook and eye. No material label. Made in France.
