A stunning Yves Saint Laurent velvet jacket from Fall 1977. This jacket is one of YSL's well-documented classics and has been featured in the ad campaign with Marie Helvin shot by Gianpaolo Barbieri. The jacket is made of a deep black cotton velvet and features a fitted cut with many beautiful details such as the ruffled satin stand-up collar and cuffs and trimmed edges. The jacket closes with 13 (!)  black round buttons and further features three buttons to each cuff. Long sleeves with beautiful shoulder detailing. Fitted waist with a small peplum. Fully lined. Made in France.
