JEAN PAUL GAULTIER JUNIOR 1980s 1990s Vintage Bustier Corset Cone Bra Style Bodycon Dress Size XXS-XS

This iconic and instantly recognizable vintage Jean Paul Gaultier Junior dress from the late 1980s or early 1990s is crafted from soft black denim with a copper floral print and black stretch insets at the sides. The dress features a fitted bodycon cut with wired and lightly padded cups, elastic straps, a front zipper and adjustable lacing at the back. 70% cotton, 30% rayon. Stretch fabric 52% nylon, 48% rubber. Made in Italy. Incredibly sexy and a must have for any Gaultier aficionado.

Jean Paul Gaultier did many variations on the corset theme over the span of his career, clearly one of his signature designs and what propelled him to worldwide fame as a fashion designer. The original styles were shown on the Spring 1987 runway show (photos by Paul van Riel). Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner reinterpreted these designs recently.
