ROBERTA DI CAMERINO 1970s Vintage Trompe l'Oeil Maxi Dress

This instantly recognizable Roberta di Camerino maxi dress from the 1970s features one of the designer's most beautiful trompe l'oeil prints in brown and black against a white background. The dress has a lovely shirt collar, a buttoned front with gold-tone metal signature buttons, long sleeves and a flared, full-length skirt. 100% polyester, unlined. Made in Italy. A version of this design design was part of the exhibition  "Roberta di Camerino, The Revolution of Color" at Palazzo Fortuny, Venice in 2011 and Revoltella Museum, Trieste in 2010.
