JOHN GALLIANO Spring 1997 Vintage Rare Bandana Style Tailored Jacket Size XS

This insanely beautiful and incredibly rare vintage John Galliano jacket from Spring 1997 bears the coveted Paris label and is made from a creamy white and dark red cotton fabric with a bandana print and ruffled satin grosgrain trims. The jacket has a fitted cut and dramatic sleeves that can be worn open or tied into a cute knot, picking up on the bandana theme. The jacket fastens with the most beautiful enamel buttons with a rose motif. 95% cotton, 5% other fibers. Fully lined in 100% silk with an inverted bandana print. Made in France. A highly collectible design from the pivotal era when John Galliano became creative director of the House of Dior after a brief stint as head designer at Givenchy and alongside running his own label.

CONDITION
Excellent, appears hardly worn. Minimal discoloration below the top button (see detail pictures - completely invisible when the jacket is worn with the buttons closed) and in the same place on the inside. Otherwise impeccable.
