This rare and iconic vintage Gianni Versace Couture suit from Fall 1994 comprises a belted jacket and the matching skirt.

The elaborate jacket is crafted from a black wool crêpe and, from the waist down, a leopard printed faux fur. It features a patent leather collar and front pockets as well as a double-breasted closure with six medusa buttons and patent leather piped button holes. Cuffs with two medusa buttons each. The narrow belt complements the jacket beautifully. It is made of black patent leather with gold-tone metal meander and medusa head details. The opulence of jacket and belt is balanced by the minimalist black wool crêpe fitted skirt that finishes above the knee and closes with a back zipper and a metal hook and eye.

Jacket: 69% wool, 19% cotton, 12% rayon. Skirt: 100% wool. Both pieces are fully lined in 100% rayon. Made in Italy.
