COURRÈGES 1960s 1970s Vintage Orange Wool Top & Pants Suit w/ Logo Size XS

This iconic and instantly recognizable vintage Courrèges suit from the late 1960s or early 1970s is made from a warm wool fabric in a deep orange - a shade so characteristic of the designer's work. The set comprises a top with a bold white front zipper, a white Courrèges logo and decorative flaps, and flared pants with ironed pleats. The top fastens at the back with a zipper and two metal hooks and eyes, the pants with a zipper and a lacquered press stud at the front. Both pieces are fully lined in silky white lining. Materials: 100% wool, 100% polyamide, 100% saran. Made in France.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age - signs of wear to the front zipper, a crack to the white logo, a small damage at the edge of the waist band and a faint mark at the back of the pants. The lining of the pants has been professionally repaired at the hem and finished invisibly by hand. Otherwise the set is very fresh - no perspiration stains, no moth damage etc.
