This iconic Gianni Versace Couture skirt from c. Spring 1992 is crafted from wool crêpe with an instantly recognizable baroque print and Medusa head details. The colours are black, dark red, orange and shades of golden yellow. The skirt is constructed from two layers, the bottom one slightly longer than the top layer, flared and with pleated details. The skirt finishes a few inches above the knee and closes at the side with a zipper, a hidden button and a metal hook and eye. Intriguing details such as the inner edges that are trimmed with black and white gingham fabric speak of the very high quality that is so characteristic of Gianni Versace pieces from the 1990s.
