GIANNI VERSACE Couture Spring 1994 Vintage Black Crinkled Safety Pin Jacket

The safety pin pieces from Spring 1994 are undoubtedly some of Gianni Versace's most iconic and recognizable designs. This rare vintage jacket from that collection is made of deliberately crinkled black wool crepe and has sexy cutouts on the front and back, decorated with a total of nine large gold and silver-tone metal safety pins with medusa heads, as well as two safety pins adorning the back of the sleeves. The jacket has a strong, sharp cut - fitted, elongated, with padded shoulders, a defined waist and front pockets - and closes with four beautiful Medusa buttons in silver and black. No material label, probably 100% wool, fully lined. Made in Italy. The epitome of a statement jacket that is highly collectible.
