GIANNI VERSACE Fall 1995 Vintage Zippered Maxi Evening Gown w/ Vinyl Medusa Straps Size M

This sensational vintage Gianni Versace evening gown from the Fall 1995 Atelier collection is a rare and highly recognizable piece. The white version of this design was modeled by Stephanie Seymour on the runway (reference photo available on request). The dress features a built-in bodice with light boning and falls in a sleek column. It has a two-way medusa zipper closure at the front and back - you can wear it open or closed as you wish or dare. The detachable suspender straps are made of transparent vinyl and have silver-colored hardware with large, transparent medusa heads. 43% rayon, 44% acetate, 11% silk, 2% vinyl. Lined in 54% silk, 46% rayon. Made in Italy.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition. A few minor pulls to the fabric. The transparent medusa heads are each glued into their metal setting, and the glue has aged over the decades and turned yellowish in places (overly apparent in the close ups, the discolorations are barely noticeable in reality). Otherwise excellent condition.
