GIANNI VERSACE S/S 1992 Cropped Denim Jacket Trésor de la Mer Print Size S
A rare Gianni Versace Couture denim jacket from Spring/Summer 1992 featuring the iconic Trésor de la Mer print that played a major role in the collection. Cropped denim jackets were one of the collection's key elements with more than ten versions shown on the catwalk. This jacket is a runway piece that was originally modeled by Cindy Crawford and Marpessa Hennink (reference pics via Vogue Runway, looks 42 and 49). The Trésor de la Mer print made a reappearance in the Spring/Summer 2018 Tribute Collection that revived Gianni Versace's most iconic designs from 1991-95 (reference pic via Vogue Runway, look 38).
The jacket is made of a lightweight black cotton denim with the Trésor de la Mer print in vivid colours. It features a cropped cut with flap pockets and closes with gold-tone metal medusa buttons. Made in Italy.
