This strong and spectacular september issue features stunningly beautiful advertisements (think Chanel, Schiaparelli, Guerlain...) as well as magnificent fashion illustrations (René Gruau and Andy Warhol, among others) and iconic fashion and lifestyle photography by Frances Pellegrini, Louise Dahl-Wolfe, Tom Palumbo, Cecil Beaton, Gleb Derujinsky, Hofer et al. This issue contains Carmel Snow's Paris report (16 pages with photos by Gleb Derujinsky) that features Pierre Balmain, Christian Dior, Lanvin-Castillo, Jacques Griffe, Jean Dessès, Pierre Cardin, Guy Laroche and Chanel. From the first to the last page, this issue is a visual feast, a testimony of its time and highly collectible.

This magazine is in excellent vintage condition, especially considering its age, with minor signs of wear to cover and back cover. A minimal rip to the top of the cover where it meets the spine. Otherwise fresh and a very nice copy with only minimal signs of wear. Pages are flat, colours brilliant, binding intact. A superb issue.
