JEANNE LANVIN 1960s Vintage Sequined Little Black Dress

This rare Jeanne Lanvin cocktail dress from the 1960s is made of a silky soft wool jacquard in deep black with interwoven sparkling silver and black lurex threads. The bodice is adorned with large dangling sequins, each of which is fastened to a row of two or three tiny black beads. Simple sleeveless cut, knee-length. The dress closes with a back zipper and a metal hook & eye. It features an internal waist stay and is fully lined; the underskirt fastens with snap buttons. Largely done by hand. Made in France.
