This iconic grey rose print was a defining motif of Alber Elbaz’s Fall 2011 collection for the house of Lanvin. This particular dress is an especially beautiful example, executed in fine silk and cut to a maxi length.
Crafted from lightweight silk, the dress features the distinctive large-scale rose print that became one of the standout elements of the collection. The silhouette is feminine and flattering, with softly structured lines that are instantly recognizable as Elbaz’s work.
The dress features a high neckline, with the fabric at the shoulders draping slightly forward and back, creating a subtly unfinished, romantic effect. The sleeveless cut is complemented by an elastic waist, allowing for an adjustable fit and versatile styling, whether worn loose or cinched with a belt. The skirt falls to a full maxi length with a small side slit. The dress closes with a concealed side zipper and metal hook, as well as snap buttons at one shoulder. Made in France.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition. Professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear. There is a small pinhole to the underlayer near the hem, mentioned for completeness.
