MOSCHINO Fall 1989 Vintage Cutlery Pendant Necklace
MOSCHINO Fall 1989 Vintage Cutlery Pendant Necklace
The extravagant cutlery pieces from A/W 1989/90 belong to Franco Moschino's most iconic designs. Several examples are held by the archives of the world's most renowned museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
This ultralong necklace features three large cutlery pendants - a spoon, a knife and a fork, all crafted from gold-tone metal that is heavily patinated. Spoon, knife and fork are the size of a regular teaspoon and solid so that they could be actually used. The closure is made of patinated silver-tone metal - according to our research original to the necklace, although of a different colour. All of the three pendants are signed "MOSCHINO" on reverse.
