This exquisite vintage Nina Ricci evening gown, c. Fall 1987, is made of black velvet and silk taffeta and features an intricate cut with incredible ruffled shoulder details. The slim bodice with the ankle-length skirt is made of black velvet, as are the sleeves with zippered cuffs. The lavishly pleated and ruffled shoulder or sleeve details are elasticized on the inside and tied and fastened as desired with long silk ribbons. The dress has built-in boning, strap holders and an internal waistband and closes with two zippers and a metal hook and eye at the back. 69% silk, 31% rayon. Fully lined except for the sleeves. Made in France.
