PIERRE CARDIN 1960s Vintage Wool Dress w/ Belt

This Pierre Cardin dress from c. 1967-1970 is made of a warm wool fabric with a large-scale plaid pattern in mustard yellow, olive green and salmon pink against a rusty orangey brown background. The dress features a beautiful collar, a buttoned front with very decorative original buttons and a circle detail at the center. It has half-length sleeves with generous cuffs. There is a belt that is made of the same fabric that runs around the lower waist and is attached with two buttons. The skirt is slightly flared and sits at knee-length. The dress closes with a back zipper and is fully lined. The collar is further secured with a metal hook and eye.
