ROBERTO CAVALLI Fall 2012 Vintage Fully Beaded Harness Mini Dress Size XS

Critic Tim Blanks penned an enthusiastic hymn of praise on Roberto Cavalli's opulent Fall 2012 collection: "In its more-is-never-enough excess, this was the most impeccably styled, luxurious collection Cavalli has ever shown. (...) a de trop, Fellini-esque grandeur. (...) an extraordinary new menagerie (...) Every outfit was a book - or at least a movie. (...) Today's show was one long, sustained holler of unholy glee."

We are delighted to offer a fantastic dress from this collection (look 6 on the catwalk). Covered all over with gunmetal glass beads and amethyst-colored sequins, it is a true masterpiece. The dress has substantial weight from the thousands and thousands of beads and is supported by a snake print leather harness. The skirt is balloon-shaped, and the artful arrangement of the beads and sequins creates an organic appeal, as if from another world. The dress closes at the back with a concealed zipper and concealed press studs, and the leather shoulder straps can all be opened.

Materials: Bos Taurus (cow) leather, main fabric and lining 100% silk, secondary fabric 100% polyamide. Made in Italy.

CONDITION
Excellent, unworn. Minimal signs of wear to the metal zipper and minimal bead loss on the edge to the left of the zipper (see last two pictures) are the only mini imperfections to note.
