This rare and exceptional March 2000 issue of Vogue Italia is, like all editions produced under Franca Sozzani’s direction, a creative masterpiece that prioritizes the artistic value of its content, photography, and layout over mainstream tastes. It is even more outstanding as it comes as a complete set with its original 200+ page supplement, which is entirely dedicated to Haute Couture.

The magazine is a true collector's gem, brimming with breathtaking fashion and lifestyle photography, iconic advertisements, and exclusive editorial content. It features striking campaigns from all major designers, including Prada, Miu Miu, Valentino with Stella Tennant and Karen Elson, Dolce & Gabbana with Gisèle Bündchen, Fendi, Gucci by Tom Ford, Céline, Blumarine, Gianfranco Ferré, Krizia, Roberto Cavalli, Givenchy with Karen Elson, Moschino, Chloé, Marc Jacobs, Alberta Ferretti with Stella Tennant, Bottega Veneta, Iceberg, Balenciaga, and Versace with Amber Valletta, among many others, as well as exclusive runway coverage of the Prêt-à-Porter collections.

The issue showcases superb photography by renowned artists such as Steven Meisel ("Series 1 L.A." - 38 spectacular pages with cover model Hannelore Knuts, shot at the iconic Goldstein residence), Bruce Weber ("Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most" - 22 pages with Karen Elson), Paolo Roversi ("The Now Details" - 6 pages, "Self Portraits with Trench" - 14 pages), Peter Lindbergh ("The Next Way" - 36 standout pages with Amber Valletta), Ellen von Unwerth ("Glam-Chic" - 10 pages), Steven Klein (8 pages with Hilary Swank), Craig McDean ("The Magnetic Black" - 18 pages), Lee Jenkins ("Mai Come Ora È Compose" - 12 pages), and Miles Aldridge ("What's New With Make-up?" - 10 pages).

The magazine comes with its original supplement showcasing the Spring/Summer 2000 Haute Couture collections, which is a true magazine in its own right. The supplement features campaigns from Valentino (31 pages), Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld, Emanuel Ungaro (21 pages), and Yves Saint Laurent, among many other designers, along with extensive runway coverage. It also includes exceptional photography by Bardo Fabiani (8 pages backstage), Steven Meisel (26 pages), Paolo Roversi ("Unique" - 26 pages), and Miles Aldridge ("A Couture Mood" - 12 pages), as well as stunning fashion illustrations by Mats Gustafson ("SilhouHats" - 6 pages + 4 pages fashion).

Capturing the glamour and essence of early 2000s fashion, this issue is a must-have for collectors and an elegant addition to any fashion library.
