YVES SAINT LAURENT 1970s 1980s Vintage Silk Wrap Dress

This charming vintage Yves Saint Laurent dress is made of a fine jacquard silk with a red and white print against a black background. It features a blousy bodice with a deep v-neckline, half-length puff sleeves and beautiful shoulder detailing. The dress fastens with an internal waist stay and then wraps around the body and extends into two ultralong silk bands that can be slung around the waist and tied in various ways. Knee-length skirt. 100% silk, unlined. Made in France. This design was worn by Gwyneth Paltrow (Can-Do Awards Dinner, April 2008) and Maggie Gyllenhaal (Lunchbox Fall Fete, October 2013).
