ALEXANDER MCQUEEN Fall 1998 "Joan" Romanov Sequin Top
Inspired by the themes of martyrdom and persecution, this iconic and highly coveted top from Alexander McQueen's Fall 1998 "Joan" collection features a black and white photographic print of the Russian Imperial Romanov children completely covered in transparent sequins. The Romanov children were tragically murdered by the Bolsheviks in 1918 along with their parents, Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra.
The top has cap sleeves and closes with a silver metal zipper at the back. 50% polyester, 50% acetate. Fully lined with signature black silk lining. Made in Italy.
