This stunning bound volume from 1952-1954 offers an exceptional glimpse into the world of French Haute Couture, featuring 430 pages of exquisite fashion imagery. The publication brings together the leading designers of the era, including Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Pierre Balmain, and Lanvin-Castillo. 

This volume includes 5 issues of L'Art et la Mode: Spring 1952, Spring/Summer 1952, two issues from Spring/Summer 1953, and December 1953/January 1954. It features captivating photography by Georges Saad, showcasing the incredible fashion of the time.

The pages are predominantly black-and-white, with a few single color pages, all printed on beautiful, high-quality paper. The condition is generally very good vintage. The corners of the fabric cover show signs of wear, and there are a few color transfer marks from the printing process. Additionally, four pages appear to have been torn out.

This volume provides exceptional insights into early 1950s fashion and would make a prized addition to any collector’s library.
