CHANEL No. 5

30 ml Extrait de Parfum (1 fl.oz., bottle size 7)

An exceptionally rare vintage Chanel No. 5 perfume from the 1940s, representing the version produced for the US market, accompanied by its original box, outer packaging and leaflet. This full set offers a fascinating insight into the presentation and retail history of the period, with numerous original details and markings. These include the labels affixed to the bottle, the Saks Fifth Avenue sticker on the outer box, complete with its original tax notice, and the charming instruction leaflet explaining how to open the bottle.

The bottle is approximately half full, and the fragrance has been remarkably well preserved. An extremely rare and highly collectible full set.

The outer box shows signs of age, and its bottom flap is missing.

Chanel No. 5 was created by Ernest Beaux and released in 1921. It is a floral-powdery scent with powdery, woody, aldehydic, iris, fresh, floral, sweet and musky main accords.
