This standout vintage Christian Lacroix evening coat from Fall 1999 is crafted from heavy black silk with a vivid pink floral print and cut in an oversized, sculptural silhouette reminiscent of late 1950s couture. The silk is reinforced with a mesh backing, lending structure and volume. The coat features an unusual collar, with distinctive shoulder and back detailing. Closes with four concealed snap buttons. Fully lined in fine silk. A substantial and collectible Lacroix design, balancing theatrical presence with architectural precision.

CONDITION Very good vintage condition. The delicate silk lining shows a few small holes (see label picture), likely caused by the weight of the coat. The outer silk remains flawless, with only minimal creasing, which appears inherent to the fabric (as visible in the catwalk photo).
SIZE The size tag has been removed - the more than generous cut will fit many sizes.
