This highly glamorous vintage Christian Lacroix evening jacket, a rare runway design from the Fall 1999 collection, is crafted from a fine and lightweight metallic gold silk brocade that reflects the light beautifully. The fabric has a very thin, almost paper-like quality, while remaining stiff enough to hold its structural shape and volume with a striking, aluminum-foil-like metallic sheen, which gives the garment the presence of a wearable metallic sculpture.
