ALEXANDER MCQUEEN Spring 2002 "Dance of the Twisted Bull" Skirt Suit

This rare Alexander McQueen suit from the Spring 2002 "Dance of the Twisted Bull" collection consists of a corset style jacket and an asymmetrical ruffled skirt. The fitted jacket has padded shoulders, long sleeves with buttoned cuffs, lacing at the front, and intricate internal boning and light padding at the front and back traced by the outer seams. The skirt is flared, very full, and has fabulous movement. It has an asymmetrical hem with a row of ruffles and closes with a side zipper and metal hooks and eyes. Both pieces are made of sandy beige cotton. The jacket has an inner waistband and is fully lined, while the skirt is unlined. Made in Italy.
