This stunning vintage Courrèges coat dates from the 1970s and comes from the brand’s Couture Future line. Made from lightly felted grey wool, it is perfect for cooler transitional days.
The coat has a clean, sharply tailored silhouette, typical of Courrèges, with functional flap pockets at the front that are complemented by chest pockets, and a flared cut that falls below the knee. A hallmark 1970s detail is the high back vent, reaching up to the waist.
The coat fastens with a row of buttons covered in silver mirror foil, plus a concealed snap at the collar. 99% wool, 1% polyamide, unlined. Made in France.
CONDITION In excellent vintage condition overall. Please note that one of the mirrored buttons shows slight bubbling, as pictured, and that the hem is slightly uneven, likely a production-related peculiarity.
