COURRÈGES Couture c. 1969 Documented Vintage Black Evening Dress Size L

This vintage Courrèges couture dress from c. 1969 is made of a black wool crêpe with perfect weight and drape and bracelet-length silk chiffon sleeves with ruffled cuffs. The dress features a sharp cut with decorative seams and an asymmetrically set row of decorative buttons with piped buttonholes and a silk chiffon flounce. Unusual neckline, flared trapeze skirt, knee-length. The dress closes at the back with a metal zipper and a metal hook and eye. No material tag, probably wool. Silky hand-set lining. Made in France.

Excellent. The only flaw is a snag/run to the left sleeve (see detail picture).
