Sexy, glamorous, collectible. This spectacular short vintage Gianni Versace evening dress from 1996 is made of fine brown silk crepe with a metallic brown lace overlay. The way the fabric catches the light is incredible. The shoulder straps feature silver-toned metal hardware and clear Medusa heads. Closes with a side zipper and a metal hook and eye. 51% silk, 34% polyester, 15% nylon. Made in Italy.
CONDITION Excellent vintage condition, appears not much worn. Minimal signs of wear to the lining. All Medusa heads present and in great condition, as is the lace. Integrated black, padded cups, which have been professionally attached by hand, give the bust area additional shape (easily removable, if desired). We are not sure if they are part of the original design, but they complement the dress perfectly.
