GUCCI by Tom Ford Fall 1996 Vintage Backless Maxi Dress w/ Logo Belt Size XXS-XS

This rare and iconic vintage Gucci by Tom Ford Fall 1996 maxi dress is made from a cool black crepe jersey with perfect weight and drape and features a spectacular bodycon cut with a very sexy open back, long raglan sleeves, epaulettes with signature buttons and a floor-length skirt. The dress comes with its original belt with a bold gold-tone metal logo buckle. It can be worn with or without the belt, with the buckle at the front or back. The dress slips on to wear and fastens at the neck with a delicate strap and snap button. 100% rayon, fully lined in silky rayon. The belt is marked Gucci on the back, the buckle is engraved Gucci. Made in Italy. An iconic piece and one of the most coveted designs from the glamorous and seductive Tom Ford era.

CONDITION
The dress is hardly worn and in excellent vintage condition. Only minimal signs of general wear to the fabric. One micro hole in the lining (mentioned for accuracy only). Please note that there are chips to both of the original buttons on the top of the shoulder (see detail picture). The belt is a little stiff due to age and has minor general signs of wear, in particular numerous micro scratches on the buckle, especially in the center, which are visible depending on light.

SIZE
Both dress and belt are marked IT 38 - this equates to a DE 32, FR 34, US 0-2, UK 6, XXS. May possibly also fit one size up thanks to the stretchy fabric - DE 34, FR 36, IT 40, US 2-4, UK 8, XS.
