This spectacular and incredibly rare Spring issue features stunningly beautiful advertisements (think Chanel, Audrey Hepburn, Cadillac...) and fashion illustrations (René Gruau and Andy Warhol, among others) and iconic fashion and lifestyle photography by Frances Pellegrini, Richard Avedon, Louise Dahl-Wolfe, Tom Palumbo, Brassaï, Lillian Bassman, Gleb Derujinski et al. This issue contains Carmel Snow's Paris report (14 pages with pictures by Louise Dahl-Wolfe) that mainly features Balenciaga and Christian Dior. From the first to the last page, this issue is a visual feast, a testimony of its time and highly collectible.

This magazine is in excellent vintage condition, especially considering its age. Minor rips to top and bottom of the cover where it meets the spine. Otherwise fresh and a very nice copy. Pages are flat, colours brilliant, binding intact. A superb issue.
