HERMÈS Vintage Printed Silk Twill Maxi Evening Dress w/ Belt Size M-L

This rare and wonderful vintage Hermès maxi dress from the 1960s or 1970s is crafted from the typical first-class quality silk twill with an amazing print in shades of yellow, green and orange against a cream white background.

The sleeveless dress features a round neckline and a slightly flared maxi skirt with side slits and solid cream white edges with neat decorative stitching. It comes with its original belt that closes with a gold-tone metal buckle and may be worn with or without. The dress closes with a hand-set side zipper and features many intriguing hand-crafted details such as three internal bra strap keepers per side and masterly hand-set lining. CONDITION
Excellent, very fresh, only the most minimal signs of wear. Appears hardly worn and very well kept. A few loose stitches to the hand-set lining. Maybe the slightest discolouration to the center front of the neckline, barely visible and only mentioned for accuracy.

SIZE
Dress and belt are both tagged a vintage FR 42 - will best fit a modern DE 38, FR 40, IT 44, US 8, UK 12, MEDIUM with belt or a DE 40, FR 42, IT 46, US 10, UK 14, LARGE, possibly without belt. Please consult the measurements. The belt is non-adjustable, might possibly be lengthened to a limited extent, there is an inseam of 3,0 cm/1.2" at each side (see detail picture).
