A rare John Galliano jacket from the Fall 1988 Hairclips collection. The jacket features an asymmetrical cut with a large fabric panel on one side that can be worn many ways. It has long sleeves with buttoned cuffs and decorative pockets with large flaps. Double-breasted style, button closure. The jacket is made of an elephant grey wool fabric with a very subtle, intriguing shine. 80% wool, 20% cotton. Fully lined in silk. Made in Britain. A masterpiece by John Galliano and a great investment piece as well as Galliano's early works from the 1980s have seen a tenfold increase in price during the last ten years.
