MICHEL GOMA 1970s 1980s Vintage Black & Gold Silk Lamé Evening Blouse Size S
This glamorous vintage evening blouse by Michel Goma from the late 1970s or early 1980s is made from fine silk chiffon shot with golden metallic threads that form a floral pattern. This lamé fabric is the epitome of luxury as it is incredibly challenging to produce. This quality is no longer found today. The blouse has a boxy cropped cut and a ruffled collar that can be fastened with ties, as well as billowing sleeves with elasticated, ruffled cuffs. Slips on to wear. 68% silk, 32% lurex. Made in France. Michel Goma is one of the great forgotten fashion designers of the 20th century. Between working for Jean Patou from 1964 to 1972 and helming Balenciaga from 1987 to 1992, he ran his own atelier in Paris and created magnificent evening wear.
