MOSCHINO Couture! by Jeremy Scott Spring 2021 Tulle Brocade Ball Gown Evening Dress Size XS NWT

This opulent Moschino Couture! ball gown by Jeremy Scott from Spring 2021 - a collection that Vogue's Anders Christian Madsen summarized as “couture-level garments that reveal their own construction” - is simply spectacular. The dress in baby pink brocade and yards and yards of tulle with intricate floral embroidery makes a strong nod to the elaborate Haute Couture creations of the 1950s by the likes of Christian Dior and Pierre Balmain. The dress features a boned bustier bodice with an internal waist stay and an incredibly full skirt made from six (!) layers of tulle in baby pink and vanilla. The amount of fabric that went into this dress is insane and is reflected in its substantial weight. One side of the dress is adorned with intricate floral embroidery with adorable silk petals, faux pearls, sparkling rhinestones, bugle beads and sequins. The other side of the dress features a brocade overlay with a raised metallic rose pattern draped over the upper arm and faux buttons that creates the illusion of two dresses in one. The dress closes with a side zipper and a metal hook and eye and comes with the original belt that accentuates the waist.

Main fabric 70% polyester, 30% polyamide, secondary fabric 82% polyamide, 18% elasthane. Main lining 89% acetate, 6% elasthane, 5% silk, secondary lining 60% acetate, 40% cupro. Made in Italy.

The dress is new and unworn with original tags. A mark to the lining right next to the side zipper, probably from a try-on.
