NINA RICCI 1970s Vintage Silk & Velvet Lamé Evening Skirt

A spectacular Nina Ricci evening skirt from the 1970s. The fabric is really unique and utterly divine - a fine black silk chiffon, flocked with the softest velvet and shot with metallic gold and silver lurex threads, forming a large-scale floral pattern in brilliant colours. It is one of the most beautiful and precious fabrics I have ever come across. The pictures cannot convey its beauty. The skirt is flared and sits between calf- and ankle length. Side closure with a metal zipper and concealed hooks & eyes and snap buttons. 44% silk, 37% rayon, 19% lurex. Fully lined in fine black silk. Made in France.
