Paco Rabanne’s iconic 1969 bag has been successfully relaunched and since become a coveted modern classic - but the original is the ultimate collector’s piece. This instantly recognizable design is crafted from hundreds of hand-assembled dark silver-tone metal discs, linked by metal rings, and can be carried on the shoulder or by hand via its metal chain.
In contrast to the current silver 1969 reissues with a shiny surface, the discs appear darker and matte, reflecting natural wear and a beautiful patina developed over time. The unlined interior features a metal signature plate. Made in France.
CONDITION The bag is in excellent vintage condition, with minor signs of wear and patina to the discs, consistent with age, as visible in the close-up photos.
