PETER KEPPLER 1980s Vintage Sequined Silk Maxi Evening Gown Unworn Size S

This intriguing vintage evening dress from the 1980s by renowned German couturier Peter Keppler is crafted from cream white silk chiffon with black dots arranged in an irregular pattern and is completely covered in transparent sequins that create a glamorous and mesmerizing effect. The dress has a refined cut and is very well made. It features a high neckline with pronounced shoulders, billowing sleeves with narrow buttoned cuffs (three round black cuff buttons each) and a spectacular open back with delicate silk ribbons tied at the back of the neck. The waist is emphasized by a gathered green fabric that buttons at the back. The floor-length skirt falls in an elegant column and has a high walking slit at the center back. Back zipper. The dress is fully lined in cream white silk, has an internal waist stay and light boning around the waist and comes with a set of extra buttons. First class craftsmanship. New-old stock, unworn.
