PIERRE BALMAIN Couture 1970s Vintage Fuzzy Wool Jacket & Skirt Suit Size S-M

This rare vintage couture Pierre Balmain suit from the early 1970s is an absolute classic. It is made from a winter-warm, fuzzy wool fabric in white, black, gray and purple and fully lined in finest black silk. It is superbly tailored and impeccably finished. The level of craftsmanship is beyond compare. The collarless jacket is cut sharply and flares out slightly towards the hips, emphasized by a slit on either side. It fastens with beautiful large black buttons. The sleeves finish with three buttons each. The matching knee-length pencil skirt is reinforced with a layer of black organza and lined in black silk. It fastens at the back with a zipper and two metal hooks and eyes. No material tag. Made in France.

CONDITION
Excellent. A faint perfume smell remains after dry-cleaning.
