ROBERTO CAVALLI Spring 2001 Sequined Denim Pants & Jacket Suit w/ Necklace

This spectacular vintage Roberto Cavalli suit, a runway piece from Spring 2001, comprises a jacket and the matching pants that are both made of cotton denim featuring a mesmerizing psychedelic print in shades of turquoise blue with splashes of metallic gold glitter and the Roberto Cavalli signature scattered throughout. The jacket features a super sharp fitted cut with lightly padded shoulders, slightly flared long sleeves with slit cuffs and vents at the back. It has no closure and is meant to be worn open. The slim-fit low-rise pants feature a classic five-pocket design and close at the front with a hidden zipper and a gold-tone metal button. They are adorned with swirls of thousands of tiny metallic gold and silver sequins and metallic stitching. Both jacket and pants offer intriguing decorative details such as the miniature signature cuff buttons and the micro chain with a crystal pendant that is attached to a belt loop. What makes this set so extra special is that it also comes with its original gold-tone metal chain with a clip-on cross pendant. Being attached to the interior of the jacket, just as it was shown on the runway, it is an integral part of the outfit (the suit does not retain its second chain though!). The jacket is made of 100% cotton and fully lined in 100% cupro. The pants are made of 98% cotton and 2% elasthane and are left unlined. Made in Italy.
