THIERRY MUGLER 1980s 1990s Vintage Leopard Print Raw Silk 3 Pc. Suit

This rare and amazing vintage Thierry Mugler suit from the late 1980s or early 1990s is crafted from beige raw silk and leopard printed raw silk and comprises three pieces - a jacket with its original belt and the matching skirt. The jacket is made of a beige raw silk with the most beautiful natural structure and contrasting leopard print details to the collar, the decorative flaps of the large front pockets and the inside of the sleeves that may be worn rolled up as well. It features a classic Mugler cut with curved seams and a fitted waist that is further enhanced by the original belt with silver-tone metal hardware. The jacket closes with the most beautiful silk covered and silver-tone star-adorned snap buttons that are also used as embellishments for the decorative flaps to either side of the collar. The fitted mini skirt is entirely made of leopard printed raw silk and closes at the back with a concealed zipper and a snap button. The suit is made of 100% silk of superior quality and made with great attention to detail. The jacket's interior is largely lined in the leopard printed raw silk as well as in fine cream silk, the skirt is fully lined in fine cream silk. The belt buckle is signed "Thierry Mugler" on reverse. Made in France.
