VALENTINO 1980s Vintage Black & White Polka Dot Cocktail Dress Size XS

This amazing vintage Valentino cocktail dress from the 1980s is made of a tightly woven duchesse fabric, probably silk, with printed white polka dots on a black background that has incredible volume and holds its shape beautifully. The dress features a strapless, boned bodice and a magnificent skirt that is densely pleated around the hips and then flares out into a charming flounce that is reinforced by a double-layered crinoline. The dress has an internal waist stay and closes at the center back with a zipper and metal hook and eye. There is a wide loop on either side of the waist for a belt of your choice. No fabric label, probably silk. Made in Italy.
