First by Van Cleef & Arpels was launched in 1976 as the luxury house’s first fragrance. Created by renowned perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena, this floral-aldehydic composition combines powdery, creamy and woody facets. It is also said to have been one of Princess Diana’s favourite fragrances.
