YVES SAINT LAURENT 1970s Vintage Black Velvet Hooded Maxi Cape Passementerie Size S

Capes are among Yves Saint Laurent's most iconic designs and are an absolute classic and a must-have for every YSL aficionado. This stand out design from the late 1970s, the famed Russian Collection era, is made of heavy black velvet and features a widely flared floor-length cut with a hem circumference of more than 4 meters, a beautiful passementerie toggle closure and a large hood. Both hood and closure are adorned with a long silk tassel. No material tag, probably cotton or cotton blend, fully lined. Made in France.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition, only minimal signs of wear.

SIZE
No size tag - generally one-size due to the very generous and open cut, but we think it runs quite narrow through the shoulders so would best fit a smaller size
