YVES SAINT LAURENT 1970s Vintage Fringed Hooded Wool Cape Coat Size S

Brace the cold in style with this iconic vintage Yves Saint Laurent hooded cape coat from the late 1970s. Made from a heavy black wool fabric, the coat is ultra warm and has substantial weight. It features a flared calf-length cut with long sleeves, side pockets, a front button closure and an adorable ultra wide swing cape (4 meters hem circumference!) with wool fringes and a large hood. No material tag, probably 100% wool. Made in France.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition, minor signs of wear to the wool at the front, otherwise perfect. The original lining was torn due to the age and weight of the coat and was professionally replaced with an equivalent fabric (see label pictures before and after).

Marked size FR 42 but runs small through the shoulders and will best fit a DE 36, FR 38, IT 42, US 6, UK 10, SMALL
